The floor-man Randy Vincent came back from a devastating crash last weekend to win the Wilroc sprint car main event on Saturday. Vincent went hard into the wall at Western Speedway last week ending up landing on the side of his car, but Vincent and his crew managed to get the car race ready and that showed in his racing on Saturday night. Fast time went to #44 Scott Auman with a time of 13.063. The dash saw #92 Jeff Bird fly buy the field to take the win. The heat saw #2 Randy Vincent take over the lead on lap 1 and never look back as he went on to win the heat. The 20 lap main saw all 7 cars take to the track with #15 Rob Scott leading the pack by a good 1-2 car length. Vincent starting closing in on Scott and eventually took over the lead on lap 12 and never looked back as Vincent went on to win the Sprint car main. 2nd place went to #15 Rob Scott and 3rd to #92 Jeff Bird.

The lites made there 2nd appearance this year with a great field of 13 cars. Fast time went to rookie driver #00 Kirt Rompain who made his first appearance this year in the Lite division setting a time of 14.962. The B dash went to #91 Eli Ross and the A to #28 Wayde Heckford. The B heat went to #7 Mark Gall and the A to #5 Marc Parkinson. The 30 lap main saw all 13 cars hit the track with the early advantage going to #10 Steven Dardengo. Dardengo, Parkinson, and Jesse Dardengo where bumper to bumper for the rest of the race but could never find away by Steven Dardengo as he went to win the Lite main despite qualifying 8th. 2nd place went to #5 Marc Parkinson and 3rd to #52 Jesse Dardengo.

The Dwarf car class was once again dominated by #4 Sean Sanger. Fast time went to #24 Jim Pridge with a time of 15.826. The dash went to #33 Brian Lee. The B heat went to #5 Bruce Garside and the A went to #4 Sean Sanger. The 30 lap main saw #33 Brian Lee lead until him and Sanger got into an altercation causing Lee to go to the back giving the lead to Sanger on lap 9. With the lead Sanger pulled away winning his 2nd straight main. 2nd went to #24 Jim Pridge and 3rd to #8 Mike Schott. Sanger is proudly sponsored by Home Hardware

The Bomber car class saw #20 Weston Lane who has raced bombers 2 times win the 30 lap main event in a borrowed car. Fast time went to #48 Stewart Lee with a time of 17.910. The dash went to #20 Weston Lane. The heat went to #99 Gilles Cyr. The 30 lap mains saw Lane get out to the lead on lap 1 and start pulling away. Lane eventually was too much and went on to win his first ever Bomber main. 2nd place went #24 Charlie Ackerman and 3rd to #74 Ron Gaudreault.

The I.M.C.A modifieds saw #91 Chris Beaulieu set another track record on Saturday! Beaulieu set a time of 15.647 beating his old time of 15.796. The dash went to #53 Kevin Noble and the heat went to Beaulieu. The 20 lap main saw 3 different leaders with Noble getting the early advantage, but on lap 7 #98 Pat Brown got the lead when Noble and Beaulieu were sent to the back after an altercation. Brown would continue leading until lap 12 when Beaulieu finally took over the lead and never looked back as he won the modified main. 2nd place went to Brown and 3rd to Noble. Beaulieu is proudly sponsored by Tyee Chevrolet.

Extra laps….. The Monster truck are making there only appearance this year bring 4 trucks on the Saturday/Sunday show, these monster trucks are; California Kid, Rock Star, Maniac and finally Jurassic Attack. The monster trucks will be accompanied by the Hornet cars, Roadrunners and Crash to pass. One big change on the 2 nights are that the gate will open at 4:30 instead of the usual 5:30 time so that fans can have a opportunity to go down and see all the monster and trucks. So make sure to mark your calendars and get there early.
