The Brian Sullivan memorial race was one of excitement. The former bomber car driver Brian Sullivan showed up for every race in the only ford of the class and parked in the same pit stall every race night. For many years, Brian struggled with cancer, and sadly he could not fight anymore as he passed away 3 years ago. Brian believed racing should be fun and not super competitive and every race night he proved this statement as he would be usually give out his trophies to young kids. Brian was such a big part of the racing at Saratoga that having a Brian Sullivan memorial race was defiantly the right thing to do. The nights racing was also accompanied by the dwarf cars and the hornet cars.
